Topic: Another New Guy to the Rat Rod World

Just stopping in to say Hi !  My name is Billy, and I am new to the Rat Rod world. For the last 3 or 4 years I have been drag racing my 71 Camaro, and I have to say that I freakin love it ! The only problem is.. It's not street legal though and being able to only ride in it for 5 seconds does not get it done. I was looking for a Pro-Street ride, but when I saw this Rat Rod...  I told my wife... I have to have that !! She said that's fine.. Just sale the Race Car..So at the end of this season, it will go up for sale.
Before drag racing, I was into rock crawling and had a tube chassis buggy from Blue Torch Fab. I was into rock crawling for 12 years.
Before Rock Crawling, I was racing motocross for several years and had a blast doing that as well. So as you can see, I believe in trying to live life to the fullest.
I look forward to reading all over this forum, and trying to learn as much as I can, and I hope to make some friends along the way.

I hear ya.. The Camaro has a 502 in it thats putting right at 800 hout. That would be a blast in the Rat.

Welcome to the nation, it's great to meet ya. I too was into quarter mile racing before rat rods.....I became addicted to the art of the hobby. My mustangs all look the same, colors may be different, but they still look alike. The rat rods i build, not one looks the same, drives the same, etc........Your gonna love this.

More correctly we all have an diction to photo's. However you  will find that there are 1 or 2 that understand more with visual than word's. (obama)
