Hello there, I am dude (Michael)
« on: April 30, 2011, 10:08:49 AM »
I just came back with my honey from the Viva Las Vegas 14 Weekender. Totally impressed by all the cool Rat Rods shown there:and all the other great cars as well. I liked 'em before that already, but know I think I kanda fell in love with them. How and where can I learn to build one myself? I have never had any exposure to this kinda work, so for sure need someone to guide me. Any good literature around maybe, for a start?  Hope to get a lot of inspriation from you all. Keep on rockin' and rollin'. dude 8)

Welcome to the Nation Dude, Great bunch of creative guys here. I'm sure you'll
find what you need. Much like yourself, I'm not blessed with fabricating skills
either. Just ask everyone you can and don't worry too much. It all comes together
and you will enjoy driving your own creation........Good luck

welcome to the nation, guess ya can build from scratch, or buy somebody's project  till then ya might start with thinking about what you want when your done. watch what others have done, or are doing, then put your own style in it. either way glad your here.

Thx guys.
Hope you are right.
Living in London does not make it much easier as a garage space here will cost a fortune.
Maybe I will have to wait until retirement as well.
Keep you postet.
Have a great weekend.
dude
