new build maybe ?
« on: September 06, 2018, 01:28:13 PM »
this is a very easy question I am thinking about building a roadster , and on the frame use 4 in channel by 1/4 of and inch . you may say why , because I have a lot of it and it is free . is there any reason not to use it opposed to tubing . the other thing I liked it will let me hide everything in the frame .
it will have a 302 ford with auto trans , I can box in some areas to make it stronger ????????????

What thickness?  1/4" legs aren't too ridged, but if you cross brace it well, it could be more than strong enough.
