rating a 72 pinto wagon
« on: November 13, 2012, 08:50:30 PM »
 Hi everyone, I'm  from Wisconsin.
Have you guys ever seen anyone ratrod a Pinto wagon?  I have a 1972 with a 351w v8,c4 tranny and 390 posi. I have radial slicks on the rear and skinny's on the front. I did some photo swapping to see what a fenderless front would look like. (maybe kinda cool) ;D

I dig Pintos and used to own a badass 71 Hatchback; black, dropped to the ground with fender flares and superwide wheels/tires.

As far as your plan for a fenderless one, it sounds absolutely GREAT to me - really different than all the cookie cutter cars!  I did a Google search and couldn't find even ONE picture of a rat rod Pinto.

Maybe you could do something like this:

I like the idea and think there are endless possibilities on this type of build......
Love building rat rods, driving mustangs, and building websites.
