They may not be Rat Rods, but some cool "go fast" photos, got more if ya want em. Some of these boys took going to the track real serious, hard running, three wheel corners, but not much trading paint.
-
A couple more, the 1935 Alfa Romero was burning up the track, top speed was 165, ran at about 130, three wheels on the corners. Car won the German Gran Pix in 1935 made Hittler mad, so he started working hard to show what the German's could do. Some fun stuff on the car, like dual drive shafts.

a few more,
1971 Tyrrrell 004, Jackie Stewart GP winner
1964 Brabham bt10, & 1971 Hawke dl6b
right hand drive, think it's a GT40

Love it, man, I love it

Some pretty good parts on these cars, few old fords, and Cheby's.
-
Not sure about the red ford, but the rest of these are all early race cars, not replicas.Like the factory "grand am" blue corvett. The white Corvett drove there, no turn signals, no headlights.

Really like that Studebaker........

The car in 1935 was driven by Tazio Nuvolari, Italian, one of the best race drivers ever. There was a funny story just after he won the 1935 German Grand Prix:
Germans (uhhhh....) where so self-confident, that they thought there is noone, who can beat their cars. But, as we know now, they got shocked, when Tazio took 1st place. Tradition tells to play winners national anthem....but Germans didn't have Italin one :D
What was the Tazio reaction? he came to his Alfa Romeo and took gramophone record from the car :)
Double shcok for Hitler, he really had reasons to be mad :D

Good job, Kit94. I mentioned the "split drive shaft" and forgot to say it is split into a "Y" shape just in front of the drive seat, close look shows two drive shafts coming back from box, one going in from trans.
Will try not to repeat pictures, but sorry if'n I do.
More photos.
