Well she is all back together. And what a difference new wire's will make. Drove her today an the temp gauge stayed at 185 or less. And that was with the fab off. Now the outside temp was around 47, but before she would have shot up over 200. Though at one time she did push 200, but that was at a busy intersection, so the fan did come on and the temp dropped.
It will be interesting to see how she reacts when the temp get's to 70+. Look forward to  that test.

So now onto the next up-date.

I hope that I am not sounding off to early ? But it is neat to drive from one end of town to the other and make the return trip home and the temp does not go over 165.
Who would have guessed that the wiring in the ol Girl would have that type of effect on things, like your temp gauge ?

Well now I know.

And thanks for all of  the support, and suggestions .

Now let me see whats next on her bucket list.

Yes. After going through all of the guessing and scratching to find out that it was electrical. It is kool to drive and take a peek at the temp gauge and it is siting at 160/165. And the only time that it goes over is when I dont turn on the fan.
