WTF does it have to get ugly when the Dad/Mom dies? Sis and her boyfriend are making this bad. I personally don't GAF as Dad has told the grandboys who gets what. but sis is stiring shit up. Mom's frazzeled and I don't know how to calm her down. I'm not hurting for money and neither is either of my siblings. WHY WHY WHY???

I am going through basically the same shit as you.
Got a cert. letter from my brother the other day with the thorite of legal action and or turned over to the DA. What a crock of shit.
Talked with him on the phone this morning and he and his wife are making a trip out here this coming weekend. We will see how that goes ?
Anyway he wanted to know where certain items of moms were and I told him, he did not look hard enough. Anyway he and I are going to have a chat

when my parents passed they live in fl. by my sister and ask if there was anything I would like . she did most if not all the work with them I told her to I should be her's for everything she had done . and that was that .

I'm STILL dealing with the passing of my wife's oldest brother, a year and a half ago!! It has been smooth so far, but we're getting close to the end and i have a slight sense of dread.

I must say that neither venting nor consumption of adult beverages are any BFD. People get weird when faced with a loss. We lost our daughter in 2015 and had this dog she had given to us in 2003. We had to put ole Freddie down in January and lost one more connection to her.
Take care of yourself , your mom, and then all the others is what I suggest.
