I tried to pick the rats that are not your run of the mill rat. In a way rats are getting a lot like most hot rods. The same old cookie cutter.

I love that green one. And yes, rats are getting as formulaic as glass-bodied deuce roadsters. Last night I saw a Model A sedan thread on a rat rod forum where virtually every car looked like a "Sailor Jerry" clone. One reason is that the internet exposes us to cars at a such a rapid rate that the genre spreads quickly and becomes repetitive faster than ever before.
