Rust-orama, Salem, Oregon, July 21, 2012

Here is the poster:

Comment: Another damned early AM car show hosted by melatonin-deprived oldsters who go to bed at 8:00 PM and can't sleep past 5:00 AM. Who the hell over the age of 27 wants to get up before sunrise on a Saturday morning to get to these damned shows while it's still freezing cold outside, then sit there and wait until noon when the spectators start showing up, only to start pulling cars out while the spectators are at their peak?  These are gold-chainer hours, not rat rodder hours! Would someone under the age of 50 please organize a car show?  Maybe from 5:00 PM until 2:00 AM?

I figure a lot of us feel that way. I like the( scrap rod ) term you use. My 55 resembles that remark.
