Hello everyone, thanks for having me!
spent most of my adult life as a welder by trade, and time turning wrenches on sprint cars year ago.
happened across a 47 ford truck and a 46 ford business coupe a while back at a wedding reception, price was right and hauled em  both home. (not sure wife was real keen on the idea)
have always wanted to rat rod an old truck and thought this might be a good base for me, so I currently have it torn down to the frame getting started. Have a few ideas of the direction i want to go,  but not everything wrote in stone by no means as of yet.  This is my first attempt at a rat rod build so I'm sure I will probably have some questions in the near future.

Greetings from S Illinois. Where at in Iowa? My wife and I grew up in Waterloo. Ask away If we don't know we'll make something up Hahaha There are a bunch of really talented guys and gals around here. And you'll never here anything negative, unless it's unsafe. We all like pix lotsa pix.
