Spoiler/wing

Has anyone ever seen an early 50s car with a rear spoiler(or wing) that looked decent? If so any pics of one? I Might make a custom duck tail one if I can figure out how and if it looks good.

Cant say that I have. Though I'm not a big fan unless I'm doing 180+ One area that you might dig through is photos from The Salt Flats or El Mirage.

It can be done, just depends on the look you are trying for. Here is an example that i think looks good with the car, but it's up to the individuals imagination.

I made one out of a piece of tin this weekend to see how it would look. Turned out to look kinda like a drag spoiler, but I like it and will have to fab one up to weld or bolt on. Its for looks,  but it changes the look to be unique. Tell me what you think.
