New here...diesel geek from PA

Hi everyone...first things first my name is Sean, Im 18 from Mercer, PA. I bleed diesel, lol. Start college in a month for diesel mechanics. Im very very interested in building a rat rod....truck actually. Just don't really know where to begin with this kind of stuff. lol. But Im glad to be here!

Welcome to the nation look around i've seen several diesels in rats before lotsa smoke and noise  :o

Welcome to the nation sean, it's great to meet ya. I was a diesel mechanic most of my life. If you hang in at college, you'll make a nice living doing diesel repair. I worked on over the road tractors and trailers.
Love building rat rods, driving mustangs, and building websites.

Thanks guys....I really want to get into high performance, and specialize in 7.3Ls and eventually open my own shop.

Ill have to post some pics of my inspiration for the rat rod I wanna build.

Aint gonna be no kitty cat. lol. As of right now the plan is a Perkins 640 V8 turbo with alittle work and a 6 speed.
