Hi there
I am in the south east of the U.K.  I work offhore as a Saturation diver, I'm into Harleys , Indians , and have finally got myself an American truck. I am the proud owner of a 49 Ford F1 which sat in a Ramona scrap yard for 40 years and needs a full restoration.  Given that its been used for shooting practice I deciided to leave the bullet holes and ratrod it.
Hoping to get involved on this site as I complete the project

Welcome glad you joined us, looks like that truck has been "customized" before judging by the old paint scallops.  Shouldn't be too hard to make a go of it.

I agree. I would like to see a history on he F1 befor target practice. Glad that they kept it at a min. Your day job sounds interesting.

Just Old  - It's tough getting parts, easy to source but the British Tax Man charges import duty on top of the purchase price and the shipping so it all adds up. MAC's wanted $400.00 to ship a set of rear leaf springs on top of the purchase price, and then our tax man wanted 16%  (Bless him). But found a great guy in CA that runs a scarp yard and marks down the value on the outside of the package which helps

Making some progress, but working months away under the sea means its not gonna be on the road this year.
