a weekend off, so what did U do?
« on: May 30, 2011, 08:48:09 PM »
Thanks to all the men and women in the service..... However i got a ton of stuff done this weekend. I was off from both jobs. Ran over to summit picked up a fuel cell on friday. Spent most of the day Saturday installing it and the floor shifter. I had to run back to Summit to pick a fuel line. Thought i could get it from work but they didnt have it. Sunday i sanded parts. Today i went to see my family. Their neighbor was sellin a tailor...Scored a 5x10 trailer for 280 bucks! YAY.... also he had a set of steelies 8 inch 50 bucks for the set. I would say this was a great weekend. What did you guys do?

Cleaned my house on Sat.(amazing what you can see with a halogen 500 watt shop light) getting ready for a get together in the evening.I clean my own place that way nobody can say much about the mess I make and complain about "all they have to do" Cut n' split firewood Sunday am, cuz I almost ran out this year, still waiting for the "global warming" thing, then Monday went to a car show to get ideas for a project at home  I need to work on. Plus the everyday "ranch" chores, feed'n turn out to pastures, ect.

Wait a minute,
 wrong answer:
Met with big spenders, toured tornado damage, shook hands, made really important decisions, worked on re-election strategy, and solved world problems.

Saturday was our monthly cruise-in, had 100+ vehicles... still got to download the pics, then I will post a few from the RAT ROD category. Wasted all day Sunday laying around in front of the boob tube...Cooked the BIG Memorial Day meal, worked on the wrecked front end of the Mecr, enough to make a grown man cry.

Sounds like one of those weekends that you need another weekend to recover from :D

I guess that just the way it goes sometimes. Got lots more to do this summer plus trying to get my business up and going. It is just something to make a little extra cash. Not planning on getting rich but if it goes ok I can just work out of my shop. plus a couple of good shows coming up that I will take off work and go regardless of what it is like out.
