Depends on what it is, does it run? would the original motor help price? is the motor worth as much as the vehicle?  We gonna need more information.

stock 302 ford out of a 1984 150 truck runs very good has 4 speed trans all new clutch assembly . motor I was told like 68000
on it . the reason I was asking is I am looking at maybe buying a 53 merc with a chev in it and would rather have a ford in it .

I would put it in the merc if you buy it.
